Dr. Jacqueline Cockburn is an inspirational teacher and specialist in Western European Art History with over 20 years' experience of teaching, lecturing, and leading art history trips.
As former Head of Art History at Westminster School and Associate Lecturer at Birkbeck College, University of London, Jacqueline has developed a gift for making complex art historical topics accessible and engaging for all audiences.
She is an accredited lecturer with The Arts Society and regularly lectures at institutions including the Victoria and Albert Museum, The Royal Academy, Christie's Education, and The Art Fund.
Jacqueline's passion for Spanish art led her to establish Art & Culture Travel, combining her academic expertise with her love of sharing cultural treasures with curious travellers.

Ian Cockburn leads the business operations of Art & Culture Travel and is a specialist in Spanish Medieval Art History, with particular expertise in Islamic Spain and the legacy of Al-Andalus.
An accredited lecturer with The Arts Society and SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), Ian has led many trips to the remarkable sites of Islamic Spain over the past six years.
His deep knowledge of the Moorish period and its lasting influence on Spanish architecture and culture brings an invaluable dimension to the Spain residential courses.
Ian combines his academic interests with an MBA background, ensuring that Art & Culture Travel delivers exceptional experiences with professional organisation.
